Bradstreet Craftshouse finds its muse in the influence of the man who became known as Minneapolis’s first true tastemaker. Famed turn-of-the century decorative arts legend, John Scott Bradstreet is known for his creative melding of the beautiful and exotic and for his impact on design aesthetics in turn of the century America. His 40-year career in the decorative arts revolutionized Victorian design principles and greatly enhanced and Arts and Crafts movement by ushering in a new era of innovation and creativity through the infusion of globally eclectic exoticism.
Bradstreet’s design legacy remains today in some of the finest homes and buildings in Minnesota and across North America.
